VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Women’s Resource Fair
This third annual event is to take place on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Schmidt-Jones Family Life Center, 13th & Lavaca. Two shifts (9 to noon, noon to 3) are available to assist Fair attendees with debt/credit counseling and some tax assistance. The participants of the Fair are lower-income women and children and will have a one-stop shop for several services (medical, legal, career counseling provided as examples). Sponsors are also needed for this event, so please contact Liz Branch at (512) 565-4464. To volunteer, please contact Kaira Tanwar.
